Help Advance Heart Health Research.
Join a Study that Provides Smartwatches to Track Your Heart Health.
The main goal of this study is to learn more about the relationship between heart health data collected from smartwatches and smartphones compared to a person’s heart health based on standard medical tests. There is NO study drug.
Those who qualify may receive:
Information about their heart health.
Compensation for their time.
Answer some questions now to see if you qualify for an observational research study for people who may be at risk of coronary artery disease (CAD).
Only takes a few minutes.

What Is Coronary Artery Disease?

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a common heart condition that affects the main blood vessels supplying blood to the heart. It is caused by a buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances in and on the artery walls, a condition called atherosclerosis. This buildup, known as plaque, narrows the arteries and reduces blood flow to the heart. Symptoms resulting from the reduced blood flow may include chest pain (angina) and shortness of breath. If a coronary artery becomes completely blocked, lack of blood flow can cause a heart attack.

Risk factors for CAD include diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, being over age 65 and having a family history of early atherosclerosis (clogged arteries).

Track your heart health with simple smartwatches worn as part of your daily routine. They will collect data safely and easily. After the study ends, simply return the study devices. Your participation can help with heart health research.
About the study
What will you have to do?
Wear Study smartwatches and use Study smartphones.
Answer survey questions and tasks from the Study App.
Complete blood and urine tests.
Have a CCTA heart scan. This is a special type of computed tomography (CT) scan that looks at the blood vessels of your heart.
You will have 3-4 in-person visits over the course of 147 days (or about 5 months), including an active screening visit to confirm eligibility with blood and urine laboratory tests, an onboarding and device setup visit, a heart scan (CCTA) visit, and an exit session. Since the smartwatches do most of the reporting for you, you can enjoy your regular routine with very limited site visits.
You may qualify to participate if you:
Are 40 to 79 years old.
Agree to use study-provided smartphones during the study.
Agree to wear study-provided smartwatches for 10+ hours during the day for 7 days/week during the study to monitor your heart.
Have no known history of CAD (coronary artery disease) but have one or more risk factors such as: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, are a tobacco smoker, are over age 65 or have a family history of early atherosclerosis (clogged arteries).
